Hi Steffen,

No I don't have any idea on this problem, as I generally don't  
perform such customizations myself -- I prefer to stay as close to  
default configurations as possible.

I think to have read messages on this list that KeyEquivalents.plist  
has been broken in TeXShop for some time already. Maybe some solution  
has been posted in the meantime, I must admit I didn't pay much  
attention. IIRC, editing the KeyEquivalents.plist in your home  
directory (i.e. at ~/Library/TeXShop/Menus/KeyEquivalents.plist)  
won't work, but editing the one within the TeXShop application itself  
(i.e. /Applications/TeXShop.app/Contents/Resources/TeXShop/Menus/ 
KeyEquivalents.plist) might work.

You can also try to browse bug reports, or post a new bug report, at  
TeXShop's SourceForge repository <http://sourceforge.net/projects/ 
texshop/>.
