[OS X TeX] Configure TeXshop to use ``ANT''?

Browsing through the manual of ant I can't tell what its advantage
over tex should be, however, I strongly assume that for people
writing mathematics in one way or the other tex, latex should be the
way to go. I personally never had the feeling that latex was too
cumbersome and hindering my "creativity", on the contrary, I love it
- including the various packages and tools.
As for TeXShop's support of other post processors, almost everything,
apart from syntax colouring, can be done with the help of Apple- and
shell scripts, so that I would recommend a user editable list of
suffixes TS is supposed to recognize.
