Hi,

Thanks for the help.

I did an expert install of TeX selecting xetex in the formats list,
and then installing XeTeX. I still got the same error.

Then I went back, again configured TeX in expert mode, and this time
carefully deselected Magyar Hungarian and Serbian Cyrillic in the
list of supported languages. I once again configured XeTeX, and it
all works perfectly.

This solution is also more intuitive. I have now learnt that I should
look at the subprocess output every time I install anything, and act
on (or at least try to understand) the errors/warnings. (I wasn't
aware of the subprocess output option till Gerben asked me look at
it. I was too lazy to check what all the menu items in i-Installer
stand for.)

From the subprocess output, it was clear that the error had to do
with hyphenation. I have also learnt that I should try my own hand at
an Expert install, before asking for help.

Cheers,
Suresh
