[OS X TeX] Can't Print Some Maths?

Howdy,

When I compile the following code the pdf file looks fine (the wide
symbols show just fine) in TeXShop, Preview and even Adobe Reader.
When I print it, whether on my Canon i850 (ink jet) or Brother
HL-5250DN (monochrome laser) printers the symbols don't print. Do
others see this too?

%!TEX TS-program = pdflatex
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{amsmath}
\usepackage{fourier}
\newcommand{\fourier}{Fourier-GUT\kern-0.075em\textit{enberg}}
\renewcommand{\labelitemi}{\lefthand}
\begin{document}
\begin{itemize}
\item
\verb=\wideparen= and \verb=\widering= (like in \texttt{yhmath}, but
please note that it is necessary to call the \texttt{amsmath} package
in order to get the \verb=\widering= command in \fourier).
\[\wideparen{XXXXXXXXX}\quad \widering{(A\cup B)\cap(C\cup D)}\]
\item
Finally \verb=\widearc= and \verb=\wideOarc=
\[\widearc{AMB}\quad \wideOarc{AMB}\]
\end{itemize}
\end{document}

Good Luck,

Herb Schulz
