Hmm. using fink for tcsh .
Someone else can comment on this.
But the rest is OK:

This is the 'vi' editor, in read-only mode.
Use the arrow-keys to move up & down & sideways.
Use :q  to quit.

Hit the space-bar to scroll down a page.
It'll exit automatically at the end.

Read the contents to find the various LaTeX parameters.

Of course this is using old-fashioned Unix tools.
You could use other editors too, such as Alpha, or TextEdit
(try
     open -e `kpsewhich bk11.clo`
)
You need to locate the file first.
That's what this does:    kpsewhich bk11.clo
This beats, at least in my mind, searching for it through menus.
