However, what you can't do is open a pdf file in Preview, run TeX  
again, and expect the view in preview to be updated. Not through  
AppleScript, not automagically. For me, this rules out the use of  
Preview (and Adobe Reader) for previewing TeX output (debugging  
becomes hard).
