[OS X TeX] how do you push an array leftwards ?

I should re-read myself before posting. What I meant was: temporarily  
suppress the indentation of a paragraph's first line.

Well, the left margin as in where the current line would start (if  
there was no paragraph indentation). This would depend on the  
environment you are in (quote, itemize etc. push the left margin  
inwards)
