Hi,

this is semi-OT, but I thought some people here might be interested
in this:

Mellel is a wonderful word processor geared towards academic writing
with emphasis on non-Latin languages. Mellel files are XML-based, and
the programmers have now posted the specification: http://
forum.redlers.com/viewtopic.php?t=1274

A user has already been working on Mellel to LaTeX XSLT which seems
to function quite well. Details can be found here: http://
forum.redlers.com/viewtopic.php?t=1179
