[OS X TeX] MacTeX - a few questions

I have roussankas-computer:~ rosi$ ls -ld /Applications/Tex
drwxr-xr-x   8 root  admin  272 Feb 22 20:18 /Applications/Tex

It seems wrong: how could this happen, and how to fix it?

I myself have never done anything to change permissions in any root 
directories.
