A note on that note:  ;-)

[H] is officially (and logically, imo) deprecated.  Why use an  
floating environment if you don't want it to float?  Better use one  
of the various packages providing nonfloats.

Also, usage of a single [h] (with or without '!') is a bit  
dangerous.  If the output routine can't place that float at the  
respective location it will stop placing floats (of that class) in  
the text at all; instead it'l try to put them on pages at the  
document's end, losing floats in this process if there are more than  
about 12 floats to be processed.  So better offer LaTeX some  
alternatives here, using something like [hp] or [htb], e.g.
