[OS X TeX] Recap: xdvi, pdflatex and dvipdfm problem

I keep looking at this list, but, it seems, I am woefully out of synch. I am running the MacTeX November 10, 2006, package, and I don't even have a "/Library/TeX/" directory. I guess I shouldn't worry about it. My TeX stuff seems to be working fine.
