[OS X TeX] What do I install ?

I can't tell what's best for you, but I can tell you what _I_ will do  
---I'll update to the latest gwTeX distribution and will live with  
that until next year's TeXLive distro. Any packages missing or  
updated in the interim, I will download with TCOBrowser and install  
them by hand.

In a fresh install, I would do that, and then other i-Packages I need  
or want to try.
