[OS X TeX] Equation Service/Editor Recommendation?

Powerpoint can do vector graphics, for example its own drawing stuff, but
it doesn't handle PDF vector graphics. So if you include a PDF picture it
will convert it to a bitmap. This applies to Powerpoint 2004; I don't know
about newer versions.

It could well be that vector PICT images will be kept in vector format.
