[OS X TeX] pdf in Firefox

This is just a guess, but ...

My guess is that safari saves the pdf file to something like /tmmp. 
Safari is specific to mac, so knows where it can put things like that. 
Firefox is not specific to mac (unlike camino), so does not know where to 
put temporary things on the system.
