[OS X TeX] TeXLive-2007: "/usr/bin/pdflatex does not exist!" Now what?!

After spending several days tearing my hair out with the various
LaTeX distributions, upon Richard Koch's advice I just installed
TeXLive-2007.dmg and MacTeX_Additions.dmg from TUG.

The first thing I see is: "Can't find required tool" ... /usr/texbin/
pdflatex does not exist!!

I installed everything! I have to have a working LaTeX by tomorrow
morning to meet a paper deadline!

I'm not a very knowledgeable user, but I always seemed to get a
working version back in the i-Installer days.

The TeXShop "engine" path setting was already at /usr/texbin, so I
left it alone.

Probably some other path setting is wrong...can someone please help me?
