PStricks is not supported (just like in pdftex) because it relies on  
a PostScript output path via dvips. (There will be some support in  
the next xetex release, thanks to extensions to the driver by Miyata  
Shigeru.)

PGF/TikZ can work provided you use the xdvipdfmx output driver  
(XeLaTeX-xdvipdfmx engine in TeXShop); I believe you have to update  
to the latest version of PGF for it to work "out of the box",  
otherwise some manual configuration tweaks may be needed.

I haven't tried pst-pdf or pdftricks, but suspect they could probably  
work (again, via xdvipdfmx) with appropriate setup; perhaps someone  
on this list or the xetex list can confirm details.

Oh, it's also possible to use Metapost; I know some ConTeXt+xetex  
users do this. But again, I haven't worked with this myself.
