[OS X TeX] Problem with font using TeXlive 2007

Hello. I have two font sets from the same company: a Times Roman font
and a Baskerville font. All files for each font are installed in
TeXlive 2007's texmf-local folder. After installing the files, I ran
the following commands:

1. sudo texhash
2. sudo -H -u root updmap-sys --enable Map [name of map file]

The map files are installed in the /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/
fonts/map/pdftex/config/ folder, and updmap-sys "saw" both map files.
And the map entries are listed in /var/root/.texlive2007/texmf-config/
web2c/updmap.cfg.

The Times Roman font works fine. But I am having trouble with the
Baskerville font. Here is the output from the log file when I try to
compile a simple document containing the single line "This is a test":

-----------------------

The author of the font surmises that TeXlive 2007 cannot see the
fonts or the configuration file. But this explanation doesn't seem
right. The directory structures for the two fonts are similar, only
the folder names and specific files differ. I am running TeXlive on a
relatively new iMac. Interestingly, the Baskerville fonts work fine
when running gwTeX on my old Powerbook G4. So I'm very puzzled as to
why the Baskerville font doesn't work under TeXlive 2007. Any
constructive help would be most appreciated.

Thank you,
Richard
