I'm not experiencing these crashes often, but I'm still seeing a bug  
which may or may not be related and also goes back several versions:  
after *many* typesets (or saves, maybe), the Cmd-S shortcut for  
saving the content of the input window stops being operational, and  
TeXShop stops taking into account your latest input when typesetting;  
instead, it uses the input dating back to the last time you actually  
saved , and for saving you have to use the File > Save menu item  
(which, contrary to Cmd-S, is still operational).

That's odd.
