[OS X TeX] TeXlive 2007 and texdoc

It looks like it was already discussed but no conclusion was reached

Documentation in TeXlive 2007 is mainly in

/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-doc/doc

and

/usr/local/texlive/2007/../texmf-local/doc
/usr/local/texlive/2007/../texmf-dist/doc

which brings a kind of confusion. F.e. if I type

%texdoc beamer

it returns a catalog entry

/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-doc/doc/english/catalogue/entries/beamer.html

and link to documentation from here results in

/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-doc/doc/macros/latex/contrib/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf

(file not found)

However

%kpsewhich --format="TeX system documentation" beameruserguide.pdf

/usr/local/texlive/2007/../texmf-local/doc/latex/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf

which is perfect since I installed beamer-3.07 via mpm

and both commands

%texdoc beamer/beameruserguide

%open /usr/local/texlive/2007/../texmf-local/doc/latex/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf

open the correct file.

=========

Any idea how to cure catalog html entries? Thank you in advance
