Phil Taylor did this for TeX-Live. Karl Berry wrote yesterday in an
email that <100 people used it; and we have such many downloads per
day. So we suspect that Bittorrents for MacTeX won't bring as much
relief. But we don't want to hinder other people from engaging
themselves either. :-)
Anyhow, after the Web page changes, the traffic can be sustained now
(some 50 GB per day per host); so we'll turn down the red flag and
observe further.
