[OS X TeX] Permissions in .texlive2007

Hi,

I am facing the following problem when typesetting files which  
require new pk files to be created. I don't recall if I faced the  
same problem before and got it resolved. Could anyone please tell me  
(again!?) how to resolve it. The error message is as follows:

kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 1+0/600 --dpi  
600 msam10
mktexpk: Running mf-nowin -progname=mf \mode:=ljfour; mag:=1+0/600;
