[OS X TeX] dvipng color trouble

i have no help to offer as to why this happens, but i get the exact  
same results as you do.

(probably you already thought of this, but maybe there's another  
viable way for you to generate a png with the specified resolution,  
for instance via image magic from the pdf?)
