It's not quite a tutorial, but there was a ridiculous thread on the
macosx-admin list (generally rather good for this sort of stuff) last
year, which covered resource forks in considerable and bad-tempered
detail.

054206.html>, and much of the traffic of the following month. The
signal-to-noise ratio was low, but some of the spikes were quite high.
I'd guess that searching for ds_store on that list would be a useful
thing to do.
