[OS X TeX] mtpro2 installation

Bruno and Gary,

thanks for the pointers. I'll have to wait for a fresh installation  
to try the steps as you describe them. Just one thing:

Well, I did not like having to do manual editing of the cfg files  
(hence my question). But that's exactly what it says at http:// 
www.pctex.com/kb/57.html that I should do. Basically I followed the  
steps on that page, which are given for TeTeX, with adaptation to TeX  
Live by trial-and-error (with the emphasis on error).
