[OS X TeX] security issue?

Brian...I don't know his last name, suggested that uploads be limited  
to graphics only for fear of a malicious user uploading trojan horses.  
Only "trusted" users could upload zip, etc, files. Thoughts?

Note that the psu site in the past was the repository for many smaller  
projects without dedicated webspaces.

I'll be out on Monday. Someone other than me should set up their  
account to get notification when changes are made to the wiki so they  
can monitor in case things go bad (tomorrow, or in the future). I'm  
sure catching it early would be very helpful.
