Sigh... I don't understand what happened. Try going to <http://www.tug.org/texlive/tlmgr.html 
 > and look under Disaster Recovery. BAsically there is a shell script  
that should fix things up (the file that ends in .sh --- not the one  
that ends in .exe which is for Windows.). You'll have to make it  
executable in Terminal and then execute it there.
