[OS X TeX] Tex Live Updater and X11

OK, I got an X11 window. It says this:

> Uncompressing TeX Live Manager  
> Updater

> Press Return to close this window...

How did I get this?

-Start TLU
-Respond to message that there were critical updates available but  
that the tex live installers needed to be installed first (I think  
that's what it said). I think Herb S. saw this message too and was  
asking about it on another thread. (By "respond" I mean, push "OK))

  I am using TLU 0.3, MacBook Pro C2D, using 10.5.6, MacTeX 2008,  
updated yesterday with TLU.
