BTW, I noticed that this symbol list is included in the MacTeX  
distribution based on TeXLive 2007, so you may find it on your own  
computer somewhere like:

/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-doc/doc/english/comprehensive/

or equivalently (TeXDist standard location visible in Finder):

/Library/TeX/Documentation/texmf-doc-doc/english/comprehensive/
