[OS X TeX] parallel versus pdfsync

I am pretty sure that it isn't me and that the doesn't work properly.

\documentclass[11pt]{book}

\usepackage{pdfsync}
\usepackage{parallel}

\begin{document}
	 \begin{Parallel}{}{}
	 \ParallelLText{left text}
	 \ParallelRText{right text}
	 \end{Parallel}
\end{document}

Could this list confirm it and the tell me where to report? In  
particular, is it pdfsync or is it parallel?
