And in this case it is perfectly correct. See "BBedit and LaTeX
integration under Leopard" from January 13 onwards for details. My
BBEdit-TeX integration scripts execute in a running terminal window,
so all you need to do is make sure the PATH in the terminal is
configured correctly.
Now, your remark for R is correct, but Dick replied to the TeX
scenario, not R.
