[OS X TeX] fontbook problem (MacOSX-TeX Digest, Vol 3, Issue 23)

In case anyone else runs into this problem, it seems to have resulted  
from stuff in the FontCollection folder in my own Library.  When I  
emptied the folder, the problem went away.
