[OS X TeX] pdftricks and Texlive 2008 ?

Follow up:

/usr/local/texlive/2008/texmf-dist/tex/latex/pdftricks/pdftricks.sty
is version 1.15 of pdftricks

/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-dist/tex/latex/pdftricks/pdftricks.sty
is version 1.16

Updating to 1.16 solves the original problem. Is only "my" texlive  
2008 not up-to-date?
