Howdy,

Well, there is a problem, the map file isn't being created because it  
can't find dvips35.map. As Axel suggested, you should run

sudo updmap-sys --syncwithtrees
sudo updmap-sys --disable lucida.map
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map=lucida.map

and see what the output is.
