Howdy,

You can also remove the ~/TeXShop/Engines/ folder and restart TeXShop  
and it will update that folder. Then move and custom engines you  
created back into the new folder. You may also want to do this with  
the ~/TeXShop/bin/ folder so that the latexmk ``rc'' files get updated  
to the latest versions which also support synctex.
