Folks,

If you have an eagle eye, you will notice that the release date of
TeXShop 2.18 on the TeXShop web page increased to 9/6/2008. The new
TeXShop has only one change: three English phrases in the Spanish
localization changed to Spanish.

I took this opportunity to switch from distributing a dmg file to
distributing a zip file. When the download is unzipped, it produces
get a folder with TeXShop, a list of changes, and a short file on
Installing. This installing file will always be included in the future.

TeXShop sometimes contains new Preference defaults, or installs new
default items in ~/Library/TeXShop, but old users don't see these
changes because TeXShop doesn't change user configuration items behind
their backs. The Installing file now lists this changes (and always
will in the future). Thus old users can make the changes if they want
to.
