[OS X TeX] SyncTeX and Beamer

Jonathan, fantastic! It works! Thank you. I also typeset an 
`ordinary' LaTeX file and and SyncTeX did kick in and generated the 
.synctex.gz file. So I can confirm that the scope of the \synctex=0 
command is just the document in which it is issued.

I would recommend this method to anyone who wants to use SyncTeX and 
still retain  synchronicity in Beamer documents.
