[OS X TeX] Sysquake for LaTeX (and TeXShop)

This question may look stupid but i really want to ask :) before  
putting time in this new package, what will be the advantage of this  
package over the package MACTEX (TEXSHOP) I am using
right now..

Is it really worth to put time in this package if things are fine with  
the package i am using right now, i mean what is motivation in
putting time in this..is it giving us some thing new
