[OS X TeX] A question about Texlive

Hi all,

I am using texlive 2008, I guess. In order to make my texpower slides  
work, I have to download several files such as foil.cls and tweaklist.  
Then I put those files in a local folder with my slides files and it  
works. Of course, I don't want to copy those files to my working  
folder every time. But I don't know where to put them. I just could  
not find a seemingly appropriate folder on my macbook. Help!!
