[OS X TeX] Changing TeXShop Matrix Panel size

Yes, that is what I get as well. But then what is the TeXShop help
file mean when it says one can resize the matrix panel with:

$ defaults write TeXShop matrixsize 12

???

Could one of the TeXShop developers chime in here?
