Hallo,

when using the TexLiveUtility to update my Mactex/texlive
installation, I always get something like:

2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]	!!! ERROR! The
map file `classicovn.map' has not been found at all.
2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]
2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]	Either put this
file into the right place or remove the
2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]	reference from
the configuration file. An automatic way
2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]	to disable
unavailable map files is to call
2009-01-23 10:22:10 +0100 Error tlmgr_cwrapper[1188]	updmap --
syncwithtrees

its always classicovn.map.

I then call via commandline updmap --syncwithtrees, but don't know
what this is and why. I do not have any problems with my installation
that I notice.

What is going on? Can I do something to avoid that error in the
future? Could the TexLiveUtility offer the possibility to run "updmap
--syncwithtrees"? And maybe also "updmap-sys" and so on, with a short
note what they do?

Thanks,

Daniel
