[OS X TeX] Spotlight TEX and PDF

Up to now, Spotlight already finds all TeX-related files in my Home  
directory, but *not* the files in my TeX distribution. Hence, I  
thought this suggestion might solve this problem. But Terminal starts  
giving *lots* of answers such as:

PSSniffer error: Not a directory
failed to find PDF header: `%PDF' not found.
warning: CMapName specified but not defined.
PSSniffer error: Attribute not found

Does this make any sense ?

Aiming at a more definitive solution: how can I get Spotlight to index  
ALL my hard disk ?
