To answer the question about TexWriters future. It will hopefully
become a commercial product. I am hoping to make it good enough that
people wouldn't mind paying for it. That said I'm not trying to fool
people to help me find bugs and then run with their money. I can
understand the concern and I will make it more clear on the homepage
that it's only free during the beta period.

Regarding the featureset. The 1.0 will include a minimum feature set.
TexWriters core needs to be stable before I will add features to it.
The outlineview showing the entire document is possible because of how
I structure the data in the application and this needs to be proven
stable.

And I don't think it will ever be able to compete with TexShop on
features. I want to make a slick application for writing latex files
and handling the boring things, like bibliographies in a way that
gives the user a good experience. I want it to be focused on doing a
few thing very well. It's my first thing and maybe it'll turn out to
be a complete failure - who knows. There's a lot of work in it already
and I will continue supporting it. So please bare with the lack of
features right now.

Regarding the fact that i crashes on startup - that is just weird.
I'll look into it...
