[OS X TeX] OT: 10.5.7 issues?

I ran the combo updater on both my MacBook Pro (ca 2006 model) and  
older Dual G5 tower this afternoon, with some trepidation (as always).  
Everything seems to be cooking along fine. I'm going to update my R  
install as soon as I get a few minutes (and enough bandwidth for the  
download).

I know we're a bit off-topic here, but this is good information from  
folks who use many of the same tools I do. So, I appreciate the insight.
