It should use /usr/texbin.  I have
"/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/Volumes/Local
/amaxwell/bin:/usr/texbin" set in TextMate's Advanced->Shell Variables->PATH
preference.  That may only work with the cutting edge version, though; I
don't recall when PATH handling changed.
