Howdy,

Basically almost all the files for MacTeX(TeX Live)-2008 are in sub-folders of /usr/local/texlive/2008/. The simplest thing to do is to trash that folder (and all of its sub-folders). Unfortunately, the Finder keeps the /usr/ folder invisible so you can't get there by simply clicking. Use the Finder->Go->Go to Folder... Menu item, enter the path /usr/local/texlive and press return; you should see all the folders there. Put the 2008 folder into the trash (you will need to give your admin password).

There may be a few more kB around but that is almost everything.
