[OS X TeX] Borderless (or almost borderless) printing

As Herb says, the problem isn't with LaTeX, it's the printer. I don't  
know of any desktop printers that do full bleed printing. Most  
printers that I'm familiar with will print to within about 0.25 inches  
(a little more than a half centimeter) of the paper's edge.

The other problem would be with registration, which is making sure  
that the alignment of each page in the printer is the same. Most  
desktop printers probably don't have very good registration (they  
probably aren't consistent from page-to-page). Of course hand-trimming  
a stack of pages isn't easy anyway (at least for me), so maybe  
registration isn't critical.

Are you going to hand-trim these? If I were doing this, I would set up  
my layout to be about 1 cm short on each side, set crop marks at the  
corners and along the edges, and then print and trim. (Depending on  
how many I needed.) I probably wouldn't try to do the crop marks in  
latex, I would drop the PDF into something like Omnigraffle and add  
the crop marks there.

If you need a lot you could probably take a pdf to the local copy shop  
and have them printed and trimmed.
