I have been using extensively and exclusively mac-port Emacs. See this: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.devel/123095. The author of mac-port patches bugs in an amazing rate. Very often I get a patch for a bug I reported on the same day. I have found zero bugs in the port at the moment. Leo
