They look a lot like mine!

LLVM-GCC 4.2 failed to compile asy over night, so I have to write a  
bug report to apple and try some variations... And while it will  
compile again I'll, possibly, have time to study DTruss' output and  
maybe the source to understand why pdftex gets invoked.
