[OS X TeX] Tex to rtf converter

tex4ht can do this. It outputs to Openoffice.org format, which you can then use in word or rtf or whatever.
There's a nice OS X front end to this---SimpleTex4ht.
There is limited capability regarding tables and figures.
This is a difficult area for LatTeX users.
