Dave, unfortunately the advice from both Schremmer and Claus is
incorrect. Schremmer's advice is based on the version that was not
bundled with TeXShop, and Claus' kind of combines the two.

Herb's advice is correct, but I'll clarify things a bit:

To access any new macros in TeXShop you have to get TeXShop to
regenerate your ~/Library/TeXShop/Macros folder.

So you need to first save any of your own personal macros to a file.
You can do this by opening the macro editor, and selecting any macros
that you have added or modified yourself, and then choosing "Save
Selection to File" from the Macros menu.

Once you've done that, close TeXShop and move your ~/Library/TeXShop/
Macros folder to the trash, and restart TeXShop. Now the new macros
will become available (including the Paste Spreadsheet Cells macro).

Once you've done that, you can then open the macro editor again and
choose "Add Macros from File" to add back the macros you saved in step
1.

I hope this is clearer.
